ConsenSys Presents ETH AFRICA East Africa Meetup Series

Starting on December 4th, ConsenSys will be hosting a series of meetups starting with Nairobi, Kenya. The ConsenSys team will also get to visit Kampala, Uganda, and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia as part of this East African series.

ConsenSys has partnered with the Africa Blockchain Alliance, to bring these meetups to East Africa.

The Africa Blockchain Alliance is a non-profit, who’s mission is to equip each and every stakeholder with the best Blockchain education, acumen and tools to shape Africa’s future.

The goal of the meetups is to try and understand the needs of the local blockchain and Ethereum communities in order to build and grow them further.

ConsenSys will also seek to update the community on existing and upcoming programs such as funds, grants, learning programs, etc. that people can benefit from.

Among the guest speakers will be Mr. Irungu Waggema [], Head of Information Technology, Nairobi Securities Exchange, and a seasoned Capital Markets & Innovation Specialist, ICT and Business Continuity professional of integrity and excellence, Irungu Waggema with over 16 years’ experience and involvement in key capital Market initiatives in Kenya.
