Participating teams stand a chance to make international contacts with investors from A16z, Polychain Capital, Blockchain Founders Fund, and more mentors during the 8-week program.
In the first wave, two African startups emerged among top winners. These startups were:
Pesabase – a payments and remmiitance app ( winner)
Kotani Pay – a USSD on and off-ramp service (3rd position)
In the second wave, participating teams stand a chance to win:
1st place – $10,000 USD
2nd place – $5,000 USD
Tenet Award – 5 teams each get $2000 USD

Teams that apply receive active support from the Celo Camp program, with mentors guiding teams on engineering and business strategy. Successful teams join the network of Celo Camp alumni comprising of teams from around the world builing on Celo.
