Y Combinator has revealed the list of 117 tech startups for its S21 batch, out of which, 9 are African.
Among the 9 African startups is Lemonade Finance, a crypto-friendly multi-currency payments solution for the African market.

Lemonade Finance recently partnered with P2P crypto platform, Bitzlato, to enable free money transfers across Africa.
The company provides 100% digital payment experiences for Africans to seamlessly participate in the global economy from anywhere in the world without any hassle or regardless of where they are from.
The partnership will enable users on the BZ platform to buy and sell bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies on the marketplace at zero cost.
Users in Nigeria, for example, are able to send Nigerian Naira (NGN) to MPESA at 0% transaction fee.
Y Combinator, on the other hand, is one of the oldest and most successful accelerators that is increasingly selecting African startups to take part in its programme.
