BitKE caught up with James Zhang, the Co-Founder of Jambo, the latest Web3 company in Africa that recently raised $37.5 million.
Jambo is domiciled in The Congo, making it one of the most successful Web3 company to come out of the country.
Jambo is building a Web3 super app, similar to WeChat, for Africa that will enable users to engage in various activities.
According to James, a Jambo token will be used to accrue value within the Jambo ecosystem:
‘We want to be a one-stop shop. The Jambo token will be the native token.” – Co-Founder, Jambo
A digital wallet will be intrinsically linked to the various activities that users can engage on within the app to earn capital, save, and even send money.
According to James, education is the go-to strategy for Jambo and will be key to getting adoption and scaling. A Jambo academy will be launched as well to help along these lines.
