BitKE caught up with with Co-Founder and CEO of Built with Bitcoin, Yusuf Nassery, on the sidelines of the Bitcoin Miami 2023 conference to talk about the impactful work the organization is doing across Africa.

Speaking about donations for this initiative, Yusuf said:

 

“We have a saying within the organization – every Satoshi counts – regardless of whether its a large or small amount, it all has an impact. What we’re trying to facilitate to the world is that Bitcoin is money, simply put.”

 

Yusuf is also the Founder of Noones, the newest P2P product for the Global South.

 

“I’m very mission-focussed and if there is no intrinsic value in it, I’ve no interest. In this situation with Noones, it creates a financial opportunity to people that may not have it.” – Yusuf
