LIST | Kenya’s Shamba Records and Nigeria’s Jamit Studios Selected into CV Labs Accelerator Cohort 6

Not tethered to any single blockchain, the CV Labs accelerator benefits from advisory support from ten prominent protocols. In addition to receiving up to $135,000 in funding, participants will gain access to alternative funding channels, individualized mentorship, and tailored growth strategies.

The sixth cohort of the CV Labs accelerator has been announced, comprising eight ventures operating in both traditional industries and Web3 infrastructure.

Not tethered to any single blockchain, the CV Labs accelerator benefits from advisory support from ten prominent protocols. In addition to receiving up to $135,000 in funding, participants will gain access to alternative funding channels, individualized mentorship, and tailored growth strategies.

Two of the chosen companies hail from Africa:

  • Shamba Records (Kenya) – Provides a real-time data collection tool aimed at improving credit access for farmers. Their platform includes a farmer’s wallet, streamlining credit processing and payments
  • Jamit (Nigeria) – Offers a decentralized podcast hosting platform. It features cloud storage, global reach, engagement rewards, and distinctive NFT experiences for creators and listeners

 

Other selected companies hail from:

  • The United States (US)
  • United Kingdom (UK)
  • Switzerland
  • Poland, and
  • Germany
