With a focus on expanding the developer base in the North African region, Dar Blockchain first set of activities will include creating a series of technical videos in Arabic and French with the goal of onboarding developers while equipping them with the knowledge and tools needed to actively participate in the ecosystem and contribute to its growth.
According to Dar Blockchain, the objective is to develop a comprehensive educational resource that will:
- Equip new developers with a deep understanding of NEAR Protocol’s fundamentals and advanced features
- Encourage active participation in the NEAR ecosystem by showcasing practical development opportunities
The first set of activities will include the production of educational materials and activities such as:
- Production of detailed developer videos
- AMAs (Ask Me Anything) sessions hosted in Arabic/French
- Social media activations
- Developer onboarding
Discussing their initial set of activities, Dar Blockchain said:
“Our onboarding strategy is a blend of educational content and interactive participation culminating in a collaborative hackathon reinforcing the learned skills and fostering community collaboration.
We will initiate peer-pairing sessions where new developers can pair with experienced mentors to solidify their learning through collaborative projects.”
In 2023, as reported by BitKE, Dar Blockchain and The Hashgraph Association signed a partnership agreement to develop blockchain in Tunisia and the MENA Web3 ecosystem. The partnership initial activities culminated in the inaugural Africa Hedera hackathon in Tunisia with 3 winning projects building on DeFi, DAOs, and the Metaverse / NFT space out of 70 participants from 20 teams across 9 African countries showcasing their innovative projects.
