The new school will be constructed in Sanga, Kaduna State, Central Nigeria, and is expected to serve over 100 primary school-going children. The schoold will also double as an adult learning space in the evenings.
All #BuiltWithBitcoin schools come with water filtration systems and solar power to ensure they are self-sustaining while also enabling them have a source of income from selling the clean water to the local community.
Speaking about this fourth school, now under construction, Ray Youssef, CEO, Paxful, said:
“We chose this particular community because of the lack of necessary resources and limited school infrastructure.
They are in dire need of quality learning spaces and this school is an honest representation of the impact Bitcoin can have on societies as a whole, and more specifically, how it can enhance education.”
