Did you know that the new Kenyan coins are already in circulation? If you haven’t come across them, get ready, you will very soon.
According to the CBK, the new Kenyan coins are available at all the major banks across the country. The new currencies have been in circulation since 11 December 2018, according to a tweet by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK).

The CBK has made available posters across the country to help Kenyans familiarize themselves with the new currency coins. The old coins are still legal tender and will continue to be in circulation for a period of time.
