Revix, a Cape Town-based crypto investment platform, has raised $4 million (R58 million) in off-shore capital funding.
The latest funding round is expected to help the startup expand its business model and launch its mobile app while further expanding its South African team.

Revix claims to be the first South African investment platform that offers a behavioural loyalty and rewards programme, where customers can earn points that can be redeemed for Bitcoin.
Speaking about the new investment and the startup’s mission, Sean Sanders, CEO, Ravex, said:

Revix has also gained global recognition by being the only South African fintech to be accepted into the prestigious 6-month Berkeley Blockchain Xcelerator.
Speaking about the reason Revix was chosen to participate in the global accelerator, Jocelyn Weber, Director, X-Labs and Berkeley’s Blockchain Xcelerator, said:
