The non-fungible tokens (NFTs) space continues to record impressive sales with August 2021 so far seeing almost $2 billion in revenue sales.
As of August 28, 2021, $1,721,767,661.90 has been spent on NFTs in the last 30 days, as tracked by the NFTs aggregation site, NonFungible.com.
With over 2, 800 transactions in total, CryptoPunks are some of the most valuable assets in the NFT space with each Punk selling at an average price of about $212,300 in August 2021.
The top CryptoPunks are selling at over $2.5 million on average.

CryptoPunks has come into sharp focus this week following the acquisition of Crytopunk #7610 by payments network, VISA.
The Punks sales have risen by more than 1,000% compared to July 2021.
According to the industry tracking website, CryptoSlam, $613,091,120 worth of Punks sold in August 2021 – which is the highest monthly sales figure in the 3 years since the project’s launch.
The project is a collection of 10,000 unique, 8-bit-style pixel art images of male and female punk-movement-inspired characters with unique traits and features. The authenticity and originality of each item can be independently verified using the Ethereum blockchain.
Other than Punks:
- Parallel Alpha sales have shot up 15,642.70% from 30 days back
- Art Block sales have also risen by more than 1000%
- Bored Apes Yacht Club up at +517%
- Axie Infinity remains the leader in sales total, with $847,707,816 even though CryptoPunks numbers are quickly catching up.
