Tips is a feature that lets you add links to select third-party payment services to your Twitter profile.
When you turn on Tips on your profile, people can support you by tapping on your Tips icon to send you money or Bitcoin off-platform via the third-party payment services and platforms you have added.
Twitter currently supports a range of third-party payment services that can be used by Africans such as:

So here are 3 quick steps on your way to setting up Tips on Twitter:
On iOS or Android, go to Edit Profile and then tap Tips, which is off by default. You will be required to consent to Twitter’s General Tipping policy to turn on Tips on your profile.
These steps will lead you to the following page that has the title “Tips.” You can now toggle “Allow Tips.”
Once you have toggled Allow tips, you can simply then choose the third-party service(s) you’d like to use.
It’s no stress as Twitter will reveal the payment services available to you.
Once you select a Payment service, you will be required to enter the username associated with that account.
For example, for Chipper Cash or Patreon, you will required to enter your usernames. Alternatively, you can enter your Bitcoin address like I chose to do:
You are all set up to start receiving payments from other people on Twitter. You will see the Tip icon displayed as part of your profile information:
