Step 1. Open MetaMask
First, open your web browser and click the MetaMask extension in the top right corner.

Step 3: Add a Network
In the setting menu, click ‘Networks.’ A list opens that contains all the networks that your MetaMask wallet can connect to. Click the ‘Add Network’ button at the bottom of the networks window.
Step 4. Add the Network Details
A new window will appear and Metamask will ask you to enter the details of the new network.
To add the CELO network, enter the network details as shown below:
- Network Name: Celo (Mainnet)
- New RPC URL: https://forno.celo.org
- Chain ID: 42220
- Currency Symbol (Optional): CELO
- Block Explorer URL (Optional): https://explorer.celo.org
NB: Remember that all transactions on the CELO network are paid with CELO (the native currency of CELO network).
Step 5. Connect Your Metamask to CELO Network
Now you can connect Celo (Mainnet) to MetaMask and begin to discover the DApps on the network and get paid in Celo tokens.
