While on a two-day visit to Uganda, ChangPeng Zhao, Founder & CEO of Binance, one of the largest cryptocurrency exchanges in the world, met up with the President, Yoweri Museveni, at Statehouse Entebbe, Uganda.
Through the Binance Foundation, Mr. Zhao intends to develop the Ugandan talent pool. In partnership with Crypto Savannah, Binance intends to initially help in training 1,000 Blockchain developers at the Uganda Innovation Hub.

Binance has also promised to set up its roots in Uganda. This will make Uganda home to the largest cryptocurrency exchange in Africa. Such a move would be a big step in growing the cryptocurrency and blockchain space in Uganda and the region.
Binance CEO, ChangPeng Zhao, will be speaking at the African Blockchain Conference organized by the Blockchain Association of Uganda on May 23rd & 24th, 2018.
