MPESA Global, the Kenyan-based mobile money service which recently launched globally, has been nominated for the prestigious Global Mobile Awards (GLOMOs), which are seen as ‘the Oscars’ of the mobile industry.
The nomination for the “Best Mobile Innovation for Commerce” category is a great achievement as these awards attract some very high-level services.

“The GLOMOs provide a world stage on which to celebrate the most inspirational and innovative developments across our industry. The awards attract a significant level of high-quality entries, so being nominated today is a great achievement. We wish everyone the very best of luck and we look forward to some exciting announcements at MWC19 Barcelona.”
