BitFxt has become the first Nigerian project of its kind to get its loyalty token, BXT, listed on CoinMarketCap.
BitFxt is an African-based blockchain platform operating out of Nigeria.
Speaking to BitcoinKE, Franklin Peters, CEO, BitFxt, said:
“We are excited about BitFxt coin listing on coinmarketcap as this will further boost our market positively. As part of our moves to build an all-inclusive ecosystem for cryptocurrency adoption in Africa, we are poised on listing more fiat/crypto pairs. This will enable local players to easily get in the crypto evolution.”
Some of the FIAT pairs already listed includes:
- NGN/BTC (NAIRA/BITCOIN)
- KES/BTC (KENYAN SHILLING/BITCOIN)
So far, BitFxt has listed up to 13 coins and 18 pairs out of which 4 coins are African.

BitFxt is looking to expand its offering across Africa with planned events in Kenya in the first quarter of 2020. According to Peters, the East African event will feature crypto education, a hackathon, and a trading competition.
Speaking about the company’s vision, Peters added:
“We at bitfxt are very particular about keeping the standards high and we will not stop working until our voice is heard in the global blockchain and cryptocurrency e-cosystem.”
Increasingly, African projects are getting recognition from reputable listing services like CoinMarketCap. Recently, OnyxPay and Ubrica, blockchain projects from Kenya, were listed on various listing services and we continue to see more projects getting onto the global ladder.
BitcoinKE is constantly on the look out for African-based crypto and blockchain projects and regularly updates on new listings.
