Celo, an open-source, mobile-first platform, is inviting the community of creators – developers, designers, dreamers, doers – to learn more about blockchain & how they can start developing on its mobile-first blockchain platform.
Celo has been undertaking a pilot developer program in Kenya, which after successful completion, is now open to more developers who would like to join the platform.
Members of the team working on Celo will be in Nairobi, Kenya to walk attendees through the platform Celo.
Celo is a financial payments system that has many of the features of Ethereum. The platform also includes the following features:
- Native stable value currencies
- A native phone number registry for better UX
- A full stack mobile first approach to development and adoption
