Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange by volume, has added the South African Rand (ZAR) to its list of trading pairs on the main exchange.
The South African Rand is now available and live for these trading pairs:
- BTC/ZAR
- ETH/ZAR
- BNB/ZAR
- BUSD/ZAR
- USDT/ZAR

So far, only 3 African fiat currencies are tradable on Binance. These include:
Binance users now have the ability to view and trade in real-time using Rands on the main Binance platform in the same way using other global fiat currencies.
With Binance Uganda becoming the first Binance Fiat Gateway, the mega crypto exchange is focused on making its platform more accessible to crypto traders on the African continent and enabling more people gain access to the new economy.
