LocalCryptos, a P2P crypto platform in Kenya and Africa, has seen 10x growth in 2020 in Kenya alone and continues to hit new trading heights in key African markets every week.
Since March, when BitcoinKE reported on numbers, Kenya is now the third most popular country on LocalCryptos by weekly trade count, up from being the top 5.

While Kenya has no doubt seen impressive growth since 2020, the company says other Key African markets have also experienced remarkable growth.
In an exclusive with BitcoinKE, Michael Foster, CEO, LocalCryptos, said:

In order to enhance its built-in non-custodial crypto wallet and offer users greater control, LocalCryptos has announced an integration with ChangeNOW which enables its users to instantenously exchange or swap one crypto to another directly via its web wallet.
Wallet users will now sport a new ‘Swap’ feature. To use the service:
- Open your LocalCryptos wallet
- Select the crypto you want to swap and receive – For example, Ethereum for Bitcoin
- Enter the amount you want to swap
- Confirm the live exchange rate
The "Swap" button is inside the "Wallet" section on the LocalCryptos website
If you made a swap on LocalCryptos before this announcement, your exchange is also eligible. Just find your exchange ID and post it in replies.
