The latest dApp to deploy on Polygon Layer 2 is Uniswap.
Uniswap V3 contracts have now been fully deployed to the Polygon PoS mainnet.
So how do users take advantage of low fees and fast transactions on the Polygon scaling network as they swap tokens and mine liquidity on the premier automated market maker?
Its simple.
Here are a few steps:
1. The good thing is that Polygon is now already added as one of the networks when one goes on the Uniswap web address and select ‘Launch App.‘

2. From here, proceed to select the drop down at the top left of the Uniswap interface.
The drop down reveals the list of networks Uniswap currently runs on:
- Ethereum
- Polygon
- Optimism
- Arbitrum
3. When you select Polygon, you will then be prompted to connect to Uniswap using an acceptable wallet service such as Metamask.
4. Once you are connected, Uniswap lets users transfer assets from layer 1 Ethereum using the Polygon token bridge.
Clicking on the bridge button takes you to a Polygon interface where you can sign and send tokens across from Ethereum to Polygon.
Going over to Polygon will look like this:
With some funds in your wallet you can now carry on and swap tokens on Uniswap.
