BitKE, the leading blockchain and media outlet focused on Africa, was on location in Zambia to understand blockchain space in the Southern African country popularly known as one of the leading producers of copper globally.
BitKE caught up with Yaliwe Soko, the chairperson of United Africa Blockchain Association (UABA) and the leading advocate for blockchain and crypto adoption in Zambia, to discuss the state of blockchain in the country.
UABA has been instrumental in driving blockchain education in Zambia by helping both government and private institutions to understand the technology and identify use cases for it.
The association has rolled out an education campaign titled ‘Blockchain 101 – Train a Trainer’ which is aimed at delivering impactful blockchain projects in Africa to a million people.
UABA, in partnership with BitKE, are helping bring more awareness in both education and awareness and Zambia is a demonstration of what can be achieved when focus is placed on education.
