Tezos is an open-source platform for assets and applications that can evolve by upgrading itself. Stakeholders govern upgrades to the core protocol, including upgrades to the amendment process itself. Its native cryptocurrency is called Tez ($XTZ).
Besides being an opportunity for developers to generate original ideas to positively impact society using the Tezos blockchain, the event also saw students and developers get introduced to the Tezos blockchain, and now they can contribute to it.
Community members of Tezos in Uganda added that the event has begun its mission to introduce the core fundamentals of the Tezos Blockchain.
