Binance is one of the newest crypto exchanges but has already gained popularity in the blockchain community thanks to its impressive coin offerings and insanely low trading fees. The billionaire CEO of Binance, ChangPeng Zhao, has confirmed he will be attending the African Blockchain Conference in Kampala Uganda on 23rd-24th May 2018.
Other expected guests at the conference include the Uganda President, Yoweri Museveni.
Binance and Uganda Collaboration
In an effort to grow employment and further collaboration, the Binance team was already in Uganda with the blockchain association of Uganda and also met up with Uganda developers to look for synergies in the space.
The Binance founder, ChangPeng Zhao, has already visited Uganda and met up with the association ahead of the conference.
Why Binance?
Binance is already being promoted as an alternative to Bittrex. Its popularity as a cryptocurrency exchange is due to the following:
- The CEO: Changpeng Zhao, CEO of Binance, has an impressive resume with years of experience in cryptocurrency. He was the Head of Development at Blockchain, Co-founder and CTO of OKCoin, and the Founder and CEO of BijieTech before working on Binance.
- Customer Support: You can submit a support ticket through an online form and get a response via email. The official Binance Reddit page states that your ticket won’t be answered by a random support agent but rather by someone integral to the company who knows the system you’re using.
- Cryptocurrency Variety:Binance has a vast selection of coins with pairings to Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Tether. Some of the available coins are:
- Ark
- Bitcoin
- Bitcoin Cash
- Bitcoin Gold
- Dash
- EOS
- Ethereum
- Ethereum Classic
- IOTA (Binance is one of only two major exchanges where you can buy IOTA)
- Litecoin
- Neo
- OmiseGo
- +36 more coins
Many investors like Binance because they offer coins that often aren’t listed on other exchanges such as Bitcoin Gold, IOTA, and Walton Coin.
