The Blockchain Association of Kenya in partnership with The Australian Trade & Investment Commission (Austrade) and the Financial Sector Deepening (FSD) is hosting an event titled ‘Blockchain and Regulation of Digital Assets in Emerging Markets’ on the 25th, November 2019 that featuring guest speaker, Loretta Joseph.
Loretta Joseph is a fintech and regulatory consultant to the Financial Services Commission Mauritius, Blockchain advisor at OECD, and a fintech adviser in Bermuda. She has over 25 years experience in financial markets and related sectors.
The event will allow attendees gain a deeper understanding on how regulators and policymakers in emerging markets are responding to risks and opportunities enabled by distributed ledger technologies.
Loretta is also expected to share her vast experience working with policymakers, governments, and industries across various jurisdictions that include the Government of Bermuda and the Premier office of South Australia.
The event will also include a panel discussion with some key fintech and technology leaders in Kenya as they discuss the regulation of digital assets.
