Bithub Africa, the Kenyan-based Blockchain Accelerator, has announced the launch of a 6-month long blockchain engineering training and internship program to train African youth in blockchain.
The program is a partnership between Bithub Africa and KuBitX which is expected to equip African youth with the needed skills to support the growing African blockchain ecosystem.

The announcement was made during the 2019 Black Blockchain Summit in partnership with BillMari (formerly BitMari). The summit brings together blockchain experts with the goal of discussing solutions to challenges facing black communities worldwide.
The program is intended to train at least 2,000 engineers during its 6-month pilot.
